Input validation vulnerability in Leaflet Maps Marker (Google Maps, OpenStreetMap, Bing Maps) 3.12.8

The Leaflet Maps Marker plugin for WordPress has a security vulnerability that allows attackers to inject harmful web scripts through the ‘mapsmarker’ shortcode. This can happen on any version of the plugin up to version 3.12.8 and is caused by not properly cleaning up user input. This can only be done by users with contributor-level access or higher.
