Input validation vulnerability in Google Map Shortcode 3.1.2

The Google Map Shortcode plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to a type of malicious attack. This attack is known as Stored Cross-Site Scripting and could be used by attackers with certain permissions to inject dangerous web scripts into pages which will then be executed when a user visits those pages. The risk exists in versions up to and including version 3.1.2 of the plugin because of a lack of proper protection against user-supplied data.
