Input validation vulnerability in commentator 2.5.3

The Commentator plugin for WordPress, which is a type of software used by websites, has a security issue which could allow an attacker to inject malicious code into pages. This code can be executed if a user is tricked into clicking on a link. This issue affects versions of the plugin before 2.5.3 and was caused by the plugin not properly sanitizing input and escaping output.
