The Activity Link Promotion plugin for WordPress has a security issue that allows attackers to inject harmful web scripts into pages. This can happen in versions 1.2.0 and below, due to a lack of proper input cleaning and output protection. This means that attackers who have contributor-level access or higher can insert malicious scripts that will run whenever someone views the affected page.
