Access violation vulnerability in Spiffy Calendar 4.9.8

The Spiffy Calendar add-on for WordPress has a security issue that allows unauthorized users to change event information. This is because there are not enough restrictions on the “event_author” setting. The vulnerability affects all versions, including the latest one, 4.9.8. As a result, attackers who have contributor-level access or higher can make it seem like someone else created an event.
