The WP Marketplace plugin 2.4.0 for WordPress contains a vulnerability that allows certain authenticated users to create new users and gain administrative privileges. This vulnerability occurs when a request is made to the website using the “”wpmp_pp_ajax_call”” function with a target of “”wp_insert_user””.
