Access violation vulnerability in Jetpack – WP Security, Backup, Speed, & Growth 2.0.8

The JetPack WordPress plugin had a feature called the Jetpack Carousel module. It let people make a type of image gallery called a “”carousel””. People could also leave comments on the images. But there was a problem: a security vulnerability. This vulnerability was discovered by someone called nguyenhg_vcs. It meant that comments made on pages and posts that were not meant to be published were able to be seen by other people. JetPack fixed this problem in version 9.8.
