Input validation vulnerability in Custom Menu 1.8

The Custom Menu plugin for WordPress has a security issue that allows unauthorized users to inject harmful web scripts into pages. This can happen in versions up to 1.8 because the plugin does not properly clean up user input. This means that anyone with contributor-level access or higher can add these scripts to pages and they will run when accessed by a user.
