There are security issues with WordPress versions before 2.0.4. It is not known what the effects of these problems are or how they can be used to attack a computer remotely. It is unclear how these issues are different from others that have been identified but it appears that 2.0.4 resolves an issue related to allowing people to register for the service without signing up.
