The plugin called “Automatically Hierarchic Categories in Menu” for WordPress has a security issue. This affects versions up to 2.0.9 and is known as Stored Cross-Site Scripting. It happens because the plugin does not properly clean up the information it receives and displays. This means that people who have contributor or higher levels of access can insert harmful code into pages. Whenever someone visits those pages, the code will run.
