Input validation vulnerability in TweetScribe 1.1

The TweetScribe plugin 1.1 and earlier for WordPress had a security issue which allowed malicious attackers to take control of an administrator’s account. This vulnerability enabled attackers to launch cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks on the website. The attack was conducted by using the tweetscribe_username parameter in a save action in the tweetscribe.php page to wp-admin/options-general.php.
