The “Buy Me a Coffee – Button and Widget Plugin” plugin for WordPress has a security vulnerability in versions up to and including 3.7. This vulnerability makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to update the plugin’s settings without permission. They can do this by tricking the site’s administrator into clicking on a link or performing another action. This is possible because the plugin does not have the proper security measures in place to prevent such an attack.
