Input validation vulnerability in Oboxmedia Ads 1.9.8

The Oboxmedia Ads plugin for WordPress has a security issue that allows attackers to inject harmful code into pages. This can happen when the plugin is used with the oboxads-ad-widget shortcode and affects all versions up to 1.9.8. The problem is caused by not properly checking and filtering the information that is entered and displayed. This means that someone with contributor-level access or higher can add code that will run whenever someone visits a page with the injected code.
