A security plugin for WordPress called Shield Security is at risk of being hacked through a type of attack called Reflected Cross-Site Scripting. This is because the plugin does not properly clean up and filter the information it receives from users. This means that someone without proper authorization could inject harmful code into a webpage and potentially trick a user into clicking on a link, giving the attacker access to their information.
