Authentication vulnerability in Login With OTP 1.4.2

A security flaw has been found in the Login With OTP plugin for WordPress versions up to 1.4.2. This means that the plugin creates weak one-time passwords (OTP) and does not have any restrictions on how many attempts can be made. This allows hackers to guess and try different combinations of the 6-digit code until they are able to log in as any user on the website, including administrators, if they can access the email associated with the account.
