The GiveWP – Donation Plugin and Fundraising Platform plugin for WordPress is not secure in versions before 0.8.5. Attackers can take advantage of this by using a technique called Cross-Site Scripting. This allows them to inject malicious web scripts into the plugin, which will then run in a victim’s browser. To protect yourself, you should upgrade to version 0.8.5 or later.
