Input validation vulnerability in myCred – Points Management System For Gamification, Ranks, Badges, and Loyalty Program. 2.9.7.3

The myCred plugin for WordPress has a security issue that allows hackers to inject harmful code into pages using the plugin’s ‘mycred_load_coupon’ shortcode. This can happen because the plugin does not properly clean and protect user input. This vulnerability affects all versions up to and including 2.9.7.3. Attackers with at least contributor level access can take advantage of this and potentially harm users who visit the infected pages.
