Access violation vulnerability in User Registration & Membership – Custom Registration Form, Login Form, and User Profile 4.1.1

A plugin called User Registration & Membership for WordPress has a security issue that allows unauthorized users to gain higher privileges. This can happen in versions up to 4.1.1 because the plugin does not have enough restrictions on the type of role it assigns to new user accounts. This means that attackers who are not logged in can make new user accounts with administrator privileges.
