The JQuery Accordion Menu Widget for WordPress plugin is vulnerable to a type of security attack called Stored Cross-Site Scripting. This means that malicious code can be inserted into pages on a website and when someone views the page, the malicious code will run, leading to potential security risks. This vulnerability affects versions of the plugin up to and including 3.1.2. It occurs because the plugin does not properly check user input, which allows someone with contributor-level or higher permissions to add malicious code into pages on the website.
