Input validation vulnerability in Advanced Menu Widget 0.4.1

The Advanced Menu Widget plugin for WordPress has a security vulnerability in versions up to and including 0.4.1. If a user with contributor-level permissions or higher injects arbitrary web scripts into a page, they will be executed whenever the page is accessed. This vulnerability is caused by the shortcode ‘advMenu’ not properly sanitizing user input and escaping output.
