The Backup and Restore WordPress – Backup Plugin is a plugin for WordPress websites. Unfortunately, this plugin had a flaw in versions up to, and including, 1.9 that allowed attackers with subscriber-level permissions or higher to bypass authorization and trigger manual backups. These attackers could then download the backups using a vulnerability described in CVE-2014-9012.
