Input validation vulnerability in Tutor LMS – eLearning and online course solution 2.1.10

The Tutor LMS plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to a type of cyber attack called SQL Injection. This affects versions of the plugin up to and including 2.1.10. This type of attack can be used by someone who has access to the plugin as an instructor, or more privileged access. This can be used to extract sensitive information from the database, such as passwords or other personal data. This is because the plugin does not sufficiently escape user supplied parameters or prepare existing SQL queries.
