Input validation vulnerability in Simple SEO 1.8.12

The Simple SEO plugin for WordPress has a security flaw in versions 1.8.12 and earlier. This means that someone who is not authorized to make changes to the website can do things like create or delete sitemaps. This can happen if the website administrator clicks on a link that was created by the attacker. This issue has been given the identifier CVE-2022-44627.
