Input validation vulnerability in Out of the Block: OpenStreetMap 2.8.3

The “Out of the Block” plugin for WordPress, which uses OpenStreetMap, has a security issue called “Stored Cross-Site Scripting.” This means that unauthorized people can insert harmful code into the plugin’s “ootb_query” feature, which is used in all versions up to 2.8.3. This can happen because the plugin does not properly check and protect the information that users provide. As a result, attackers who are logged in and have certain levels of access can add code to pages that will run when other users view those pages.
