Input validation vulnerability in Better Comments 1.5.5

The Better Comments plugin for WordPress has a security issue that allows hackers to insert harmful code into websites. This can happen through the ‘nickname’ field and affects all versions up to 1.5.5. It is a result of not properly filtering and protecting user input. This means that attackers who have at least subscriber-level access can add code that will run whenever someone visits the affected webpage.
