Input validation vulnerability in Web Directory Free 1.7.6

A plugin called “Web Directory Free” for WordPress has a security issue called SQL Injection. This can happen in versions 1.7.6 and below. The problem is that the plugin does not properly handle certain user inputs and does not prepare its SQL queries well enough. This means that attackers who are not logged in can add their own SQL queries to existing ones, which can then be used to access private information from the website’s database.
