A popular plugin for WordPress called “WP on AWS” has a security issue that can be exploited by hackers. This happens when the plugin does not properly clean up information that is entered into a form, allowing malicious scripts to be inserted into a webpage. This can happen if a user falls for a trick and clicks on a link, even if they are not logged into the site.
