Input validation vulnerability in HTML5 Video Player with Playlist 2.4.0

The HTML5 Video Player with Playlist plugin for WordPress had a security flaw in versions up to and including 2.4.0. This flaw could allow an unauthenticated attacker to inject malicious web scripts into webpages. This could be done by getting someone to click on a link or perform another action. The security flaw was caused by the inadequate protection against input that was not properly sanitized and output that was not properly escaped.
