The Dropdown Menu Widget is a plugin for WordPress websites. Versions up to and including 1.9.7 of this plugin have a vulnerability that unauthenticated attackers can use to inject malicious code into the website. This is done by exploiting insufficient input sanitization and output escaping, which can occur if a user is tricked into clicking on a link.
