Input validation vulnerability in MapSVG – Vector maps, Image maps, Google Maps 8.7.15

The MapSVG plugin used in WordPress has a security issue that could make it vulnerable to a type of hacking called Stored Cross-Site Scripting. This can happen in versions 8.7.15 and below because the plugin does not properly clean up the input and output of information. This means that someone who is already logged in and has permission to make changes to the website could insert harmful code that will run whenever someone visits the page.
