The Easy Table of Contents plugin for WordPress, a popular tool for organizing website content, has a security issue that could put user data at risk. This vulnerability, known as Stored Cross-Site Scripting, allows attackers with certain permissions to add malicious code to pages that can harm users’ devices. This problem affects all versions of the plugin up to 2.0.67 and can only happen on websites with multiple pages or with certain security settings disabled.
