The Slider Revolution add-on for WordPress has a security issue that allows unauthorized users to access and change data. This happens because the plugin does not check for the appropriate permissions in certain functions. This means that attackers who are logged in with Contributor-level access or higher can install and activate add-ons, create sliders, and download any type of file.
