Input validation vulnerability in Broadcast Live Video – Live Streaming : HTML5, WebRTC, HLS, RTSP, RTMP 6.1.9

The Broadcast Live Video plugin for WordPress, which allows users to stream videos using HTML5, WebRTC, HLS, RTSP, and RTMP, has a security vulnerability. This vulnerability, known as Stored Cross-Site Scripting, affects all versions up to and including 6.1.9. It occurs because the plugin does not properly clean and safeguard user-provided attributes. This means that attackers with contributor-level or higher access can insert harmful web scripts into pages that will run whenever a user visits that page.
