Input validation vulnerability in Simple Slideshow Manager 2.3

The Simple Slideshow Manager plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to a security issue called Reflected Cross-Site Scripting. This issue affects versions of the plugin up to, and including, version 2.3. It occurs when a user is tricked into clicking on a link, which allows an attacker to inject malicious web scripts into the pages a user visits. This is possible because the plugin does not properly filter user input or properly escape output.
