The Client Invoicing plugin for WordPress, called Sprout Invoices, has a security issue that allows unauthorized changes to be made to data. This is because there is a missing check on the maybe_change_status() function in all versions up to 20.8.1. This means that someone with at least Subscriber-level access can change the status of invoices without permission.
