Input validation vulnerability in Magee Shortcodes 2.0.8

The Magee Shortcodes plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to a security issue called Reflected Cross-Site Scripting. This issue affects versions 2.0.8 and earlier, and is caused by the plugin not properly protecting against malicious user input and web scripts. If an attacker is able to trick a user into taking a certain action (clicking on a link, for example), they could inject malicious scripts into the page which would then execute.
