The Discussion Board plugin for WordPress is a tool that can be added to a WordPress website. Unfortunately, versions up to and including version 2.4.8 have a security vulnerability that allows malicious people to add new content to the website. Those with the lowest level of access, subscribers, are able to manipulate posts to create new web pages, spam, or phishing scams.
