Input validation vulnerability in Rename Author Slug 1.2.0

A plugin for WordPress called Rename Author Slug has a security issue in all versions up to 1.2.0. This is because it doesn’t properly check for a special code to ensure the request is legitimate. This means that someone who isn’t logged in could change the plugin’s settings and add harmful code to a website, as long as they can trick the website’s owner into doing something like clicking on a link.
