Input validation vulnerability in visitor-maps 1.5.8.6

The Visitor Maps plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to a type of cyber attack called Stored Cross-Site Scripting. This is an issue that affects versions of the plugin up to 1.5.8.6 because the plugin does not properly check for malicious inputs or protect against malicious outputs. If someone with malicious intent were to gain access to the plugin, they could inject web scripts into pages. These scripts would run every time a user visits the page, potentially allowing the attacker to take control of the user’s computer.
