Input validation vulnerability in MC4WP: Mailchimp for WordPress 4.8.4

The MC4WP: Mailchimp for WordPress is vulnerable to a type of hacker attack called Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) in versions 4.8.4 and below. This vulnerability is caused by not checking for a certain type of code (called a nonce) when the ‘listen_for_actions’ function is used. This means that a hacker could make a fake request that tricks a website’s administrator into clicking on a link, which could then dismiss notices or delete log files.
