Input validation vulnerability in LaTeX2HTML 2.5.5

The plugin called “LaTeX2HTML” for WordPress has a security issue called “Reflected Cross-Site Scripting.” This is because it doesn’t properly clean up or protect against harmful code in the ‘ver’ or ‘date’ fields. This means that hackers who are not logged in can add dangerous code to a page and it will run if they can get someone to click on a link.
