The All in One SEO plugin, which is used to improve search engine rankings and attract more visitors to a WordPress website, has a security vulnerability. This vulnerability, known as Stored Cross-Site Scripting, exists in all versions up to and including 4.8.1.1. It is caused by not properly filtering and protecting certain parts of the plugin. This means that anyone with Contributor-level access or higher can potentially add harmful code to pages that will run when someone views those pages.
