Input validation vulnerability in External Links – nofollow, noopener & new window 1.81

The WP External Links plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to a security issue in versions before 1.81. This issue makes it possible for attackers to inject malicious web scripts into pages. If a user visits an injected page, the malicious scripts can be executed. This is due to the plugin not properly sanitizing input and output.
