The plugin called Envato Affiliater for WordPress has a security issue that makes it vulnerable to a type of hacking called Reflected Cross-Site Scripting. This can happen in all versions of the plugin, including the most recent one, 1.2.4, because the plugin does not properly clean up and secure the information that is put into it. This means that someone who is not authorized to access the website can put harmful code into the pages, which will run if a user is tricked into doing something, like clicking on a link.
