The Slider and Carousel slider plugin for WordPress, created by Depicter, has a security vulnerability. This is because the function ‘addExtraMimeType’ does not properly clean and protect the input and output. As a result, attackers who are logged in and have author-level permissions or higher can insert harmful web scripts into pages. These scripts will run when a user visits the infected page.
