Input validation vulnerability in ShortPixel Image Optimizer – Optimize Images, Convert WebP & AVIF 5.4.2

The ShortPixel Image Optimizer plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to a security issue. Versions up to, and including, 5.4.1 are affected. An attacker with editor privileges or higher could use this vulnerability to inject a malicious code into the post content. This code could be used to delete files, access sensitive data, or run commands on the target system. It is possible that a vulnerable plugin or theme installed on the target system could allow the attacker to do even more damage.
