Input validation vulnerability in Image Gallery – Responsive Photo Gallery 1.7.1

The Image Gallery – Responsive Photo Gallery plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to a type of web security risk called Reflected Cross-Site Scripting. This means that if a user clicks on a malicious link, attackers can inject their own web scripts into the page. The vulnerability affects versions up to and including 1.7.0 of the plugin because it does not properly filter user input for malicious content and does not properly escape output.
