Access violation vulnerability in WordPress REST API Authentication 3.6.3

A plugin for WordPress called WordPress REST API Authentication has a security issue that could allow unauthorized changes to be made to the site. This can lead to a denial of service, meaning that the site will not function properly for legitimate users. The problem is caused by a missing check on a function called mo_api_auth_close_admin_notices(), which is present in all versions of the plugin up to version 3.6.3. This means that someone with at least Subscriber-level access can update certain settings on the site, causing errors or enabling features that can disrupt the site’s functionality.
