Access violation vulnerability in JS Help Desk – Best Help Desk & Support Plugin 2.7.7

The “JS Help Desk – Best Help Desk & Support Plugin” is a plugin for WordPress websites. Unfortunately, versions of this plugin up to and including 2.7.7 have a security vulnerability. This vulnerability, called Insecure Direct Object Reference, is caused by the plugin not properly validating a key that the user can control. If an attacker with at least a subscriber-level access to the website exploits this vulnerability, they can delete help desk tickets.
