Access violation vulnerability in WP Job Portal – A Complete Recruitment System for Company or Job Board website 2.2.2

The WP Job Portal is a plugin for WordPress that helps companies or job boards with their recruitment process. However, it has a security vulnerability that allows unauthorized individuals to gain access to the system. This is because the function assignUserRole() does not have a check in place to verify the user’s capabilities. As a result, attackers who are not logged in can gain the same level of access as an employer.
